We are exciting to announce that we will be hosting our first virtual brigade this semester!​

Global Business TeleBrigades are designed for aspiring business professionals to apply their business skills, foster cultural competency through virtual immersion, and with the support of our local teams and mentors from Deloitte or Accenture, create consulting deliverables to help grow small business “clients” from under resourced communities in the developing world.

Telebrigade

TeleBrigades enable university students to achieve the same professional outcomes as volunteering abroad, with even more community impact and reduced costs, while limiting time away from work and negative environmental impact associated with travel.

The virtual brigade is currently planned to take place during a five week time-span with virtual meetings once per week. The TeleBrigades tentative dates would start the second week of October and continue until the second week of November. However, these dates are still subject to change.

Cost Comparison

A physical brigade costs can range from $1,800 to $2,000 per person while the virtual brigades costs only range from $475 to $275 per volunteer! Additionally, since all of the client interactions and planning on the TeleBrigade are virtual, we have more flexibility and the ability to move session dates around to better fit each team member’s schedule.
